I was looking for a masculine fragrance that didn’t smell like every cologne dupe in the marketplace, and I decided to give La Reserve a shot. I am glad I did. It has some earthy undertones, and a masculine muskiness. I also smell something like a dried spice note; cardamom pods, perhaps? You could blend this one with just about anything spicy, like a pure clove or cinnamon bark. But it is so nice on its own. I smell notes of hardwoods, but not the typical single-note cedar. This is not Drakkar, but it conveys the same sentiment, but in a more robust, complicated way. As the description says, it is sophisticated. Why has no one reviewed this yet?

I have been purchasing this fragrance for almost a year and I can’t believe I have not written a review on it. Amazing, manly, bold, alluring, distinct, is what I can say about this fragrance!! Not so much only cologne, but a soft lavender and sandalwood. It’s complex and classy.
I have a tiny candle company and this is my #2 selling year round candle.
The hot throw in Millennium or freedom or even igi 6006 is super strong. My customers love , love, love this aroma. This is part of our mens line of candles, and mainly women purchase this for their significant other.
